
Fees and Receipts
My usual fee is 180$ CAD per session. I have limited space to accommodate clients on a sliding scale fee based on household income. This reduced rate is offered for a limited period of one year.

I invoice for services rendered monthly on the last therapy date of the month. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

Payment is made by electronic transfer, which is equipped with an auto transfer feature, so you do not have to bother with security questions.

Receipts are provided for clients to use for insurance reimbursements if applicable. They are applicable for income tax deduction as health care expenses.

Additional Information

Insurance
Many clients have health insurance which provides for reimbursement of psychotherapy payments.

Cancellations and Lateness
When possible, canceled sessions can be rescheduled within the billing month. For cancellations I charge my full fee with general exceptions for significant family emergencies.

Transference
The relationship with the therapist in psychotherapy is a centerpiece. The technical term for the relationship is called transference.
